Flying over the Alps on my way to Italy
Landing in Italy, on Milan Airport MalpensaThe hotel in Varese, Hotel CapolagoThe LobbyThe roomThe view from my roomI took a little stroll to Capolago, a small village next to the hotel.Narrow streets and old buidlings..No sidewalk. But very nice.There was a Church on top of one of the nearby Mountains.The Church in Capolago.You could by some cheese in Italy. And my first dinner…The breakfast at the hotel.And then it was of to Whirlpool for some training. Had a great lunch there too. And The men cut in stone are the founders of Whirlpool.Aftr a long day of training some of us went in to Varese downtown for a drink and some sightseeing before dinner.Wonderful old buildings and streets.Stefani strikes a pose…Aperol pritzer. And Hans (one of the two Hans’es) stops and smells the roses.The old Church of Varese, where one of our trainers, Katia actually got married.Out sightseeing With mye belgian Girls! 😀 ❤
Dinner at Bologna Varese. This are just the starters…. a whole lot of Antipasto.Here’s the maincourse. Risotto, Pasta and Gnocchi.And the dessert. Rice-icecream. And a ginseng drink.Then there was a New day at Whirlpool. Got a great lunch this day too…and then the Chef Marco had a microwave demo for us, and we got to taste. Pizza, pasta, filled peppers, Fish…an then we got to test our cookingskills. The blue-group(me, evelina, johan and Veronique) made Salmon in bacon and Calzone. All With the cripsfunction of a Whirlpool microwave.Then Whirlpool, Katia, took us out for a 5 course dinner at Da Venanzio. This was really good… I don’t need to say I was rather full this evening.The cosy restaurant, witch was very classy inside. Da Venanzio.Almost everyone.Making dessert for us. Real homemade italian icecream and Strawberries. Mmmmmm
